Music Journey

My musical education officially began in high school at an arts school. There I taught myself Garageband, and later Logic Pro and fell in love with songwriting and music production. I spent hours on my lunch period messing around with odd time signatures and weird chord progressions. In my final year of high school, I wrote a song called Cry Me a River with some friends for a class project which we ended up recording and releasing. From there, I went to Humber College where I received a Bachelor of Music degree. Humber provided me real studio experience both as a producer and mixing engineer, and as a performer and artist. My latest EP Born Anew was recorded at Humber Studios, which I released just after I graduated in 2024. My time at university taught me a lot, and gave me many of the skills I needed to pursue music as a working professional.

Creative Musical Endeavors

With five years of experience writing, recording, and performing my songs, I am proud to continue creating unique music that resonates with listeners. I always try to include interesting and unique musical elements into my songs (watch out for the bars of two, they're everywhere!). Some of my favourite music has some really interesting chords, or a strange form and so I seek to approach my own songwriting in this outside-the-box way.

Artistic Background

I began releasing music in 2020 and since then have put out over 20 original songs. My discography includes mostly pop-adjacent stuff, as well as some jazz, some rock, and some folk. I am a multi-instrumentalist, and am proud to say that the vast majority of my recordings are written, produced, performed, and mixed entirely by me (pretty much everything other than Born Anew).. I look forward to recording and releasing many more songs in the near future!
